Dr. Emma M. Smith is an Occupational Therapist and Assistive Technology researcher at the Assisting Living and Learning Institute at Maynooth University in Ireland. Emma has worked across the age spectrum – from pediatrics to geriatrics, and across many practice settings – including schools, community, rehabilitation, and long-term care. Dr. Smith regularly teaches assistive technology related courses at universities in both Canada and Ireland, as well as at national and international conferences.
