BPPV Beyond Basics: Atypical Presentations and Differential Dilemmas
Course: #4262Level: Advanced 2 Hours 679 ReviewsBPPV is a common vestibular disorder that most often is treated in limited sessions with high success rates, however, there are complex, atypical and refractory presentations that can be challenging to manage. This course is designed to help guide clinicians in establishing better understandings of differential diagnosis e.g. BPPV vs migraine, proposed pathophysiology e.g. apogeotropic posterior canal BPPV, refractory BPPV presentations especially in older adults and develop treatment strategies to more optimally manage patients with atypical/complex BPPV. This course is directly related to the practice of physical therapy and is therefore appropriate for the PT/PTA.
