I felt that the content of this course was much too advanced for a 2 hour webinar. There was way more statistical analysis of lab tests than I was expecting and not as much information on practical application. Even the testing was geared towards laboratory research with expensive equipment rather than practical clinical screens/tests. Very interesting information, but much too technical in my opinion.

I felt too much time was spent on research and not enough time on interventions. Also, working in the school district, I don't have access to a lab, nor is one close so that was not as relevant to me. I would rather have learned more interventions.

For general clinicians, maybe starting with the child's area of difficulty, identifying the abnormal skills and test that would identify it, and then the therapy intervention. It's difficult not to be overwhelmed with all the highly technical information in the presentation and the actual therapy interventions seems rushed. I think this would be a good presentation for people wanting to become vestibular specialists.

I enjoyed the topic of the course, but the clinical information and studies did not hold a lot of relevancy to the population I work with in Birth to Three. I don't have access to a lot of the testing options and treatment options were much more focused on the older child population.

It began with a review of the internal ear and central vestibular pathways. I am unfamiliar with the clinical tests, so I got some great information on that. This was a helpful course as I am currently working with a child that is perplexing and now have a new direction to take to improve her gross motor skills.

Very applicable to the patient population I work with. I work in EI so some of the tests are not accessible but you included testing methods that don't require a lot of equipment and even though some of the kids are young I can work on some habituation and getting them ready to do some of this more complicated work ie. swing them, bounce them so they can be prepared for gaze stabilization exercises. Also, work on static and dynamic balance in general.

I gained some knowledge in this course, but my vestibular knowledge prior was very limited, so the course felt advanced for me. I and a PT and I work with children under the age of 3 that I suspect have vestibular insufficiencies but due to their age and communication and cognitive skills, it would be very difficult to test without expensive equipment. Good information though! I'm intrigued by the vestibular system and how it relates to motor develpment.

The course had so much valuable information that is all relevant to a majority of my patient population. It offered clinical tests and interventions that I can quickly and effectively start to implement in my practice. I find that in addition to power point presentations, it is also very helpful to have the information displayed in a easy to reference format. I think a great addition to this presentation would be some handouts or info graphics.

The speaker gave a good overview of vestibular dysfunction and how to test for it and provided treatment ideas. I would love to see the course broken down into different areas that could be done as a series so more information could be provided since almost every child presents with some form of vestibular dysfunction that affects their functional ability and learning. For example: 1)anatomy/signs and symptoms of vestibular dysfunction/effects on learning 2) Testing 3) Treatment Interventions.
