A review of the anatomy and etiology of peripheral facial nerve disorders, and how to evaluate a patient with facial palsy is included in the first segment of this series. The role of physical therapy, as well as medical and surgical interventions, are described in detail in the second segment.This course is directly related to the practice of physical therapy and is therefore appropriate for the PT and PTA.

Note: Regarding Pennsylvania credits, this course is approved by the PA State Board of Physical Therapy for 2.5 hours of general and 2 hours of Direct Access CE credit.
