Amber Asselin, PT, graduated in 1985 from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. She is also a Tai Chi instructor. She received her certification in 1987 from the Tai Chi Innerwave Academy, Montreal, Canada, and she appeared on the nationally syndicated PBS healthcare series - Tai Chi Innerwave in 1995. She has enjoyed working in various clinical settings since 1985, treating pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations in Montreal, Florida, and California. Amber served on the board of SCIL (Suncoast Center for Independent Living) for over five years in the early 2000s while working in Home Health in Florida. She was the Manager of the Kentfield Rehab & Specialty Hospital outpatient department in Marin County, CA, from 2008 - 2015. Amber has worked in Home Health for the past eight years in Santa Cruz, CA. She has worked extensively with patients presenting with chronic pain due to various conditions and injuries. Having developed a special interest in holistic therapeutic approaches over the last 38 years, Amber has designed and implemented a course of treatment directed at pain/stress management.
