Learning to differentiate the “why” of the fall is critical to appropriate management, and this presentation will discuss holistic fall screening, treatment, and prevention strategies for patients.

Christopher Voltmer
PT, DPT, PhD, NCS
Christopher Voltmer, PT, DPT, PhD, NCS received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York Institute of Technology in 2008. He was awarded the Academic Achievement Award and the NYPTA Participation Award upon graduation. Dr. Voltmer has worked in a variety of clinical settings while specializing in Neurological rehabilitation. He has been board-certified as a Neurological Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties since 2013. He successfully defended his dissertation in March of 2023 and received his PhD degree from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Voltmer has been a full time Assistant Professor at Touro College since 2014 and teaches the Neurologic curriculum.
