- After this course, participants will be able to independently list at least one treatment option or risk reduction technique for the following wounds: pressure injuries, burns, skin tears, and moisture-associated skin damage.

Quyen N. Catania, PT, DPT, CWS, CLT, NCS graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science and Washington University in St. Louis with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She obtained her Certified Wound Specialist in 2016, Certified Lymphedema Therapist in 2017, and Neurologic Specialist Certification in 2020. She currently serves in the role of Clinical Training and Education Coordinator and has been an integral part of expanding lymphedema and wound care services at Kennedy Krieger Institute, International Center for Spinal Cord Injury. Dr. Catania has published two peer-reviewed manuscripts and has presented on topics related to skin tears, pressure injuries, pediatric telehealth, and lymphedema in the Spinal Cord population. She is currently a member of the American Spinal Injury Association, American Board of Wound Care Management, and American Physical Therapy Association (Maryland Chapter).
